Cooroy Rag grant program
The Cooroy Rag Community Newspaper is pleased to announce the launch of its 2025 grant
program.
This year, $10,000 will be available for organizations working to benefit community causes in
the Cooroy Rag distribution area.
Grant applications can range from $500-$2,500, and final decisions and amounts distributed are
at the discretion of the Cooroy Rag management committee.
Criteria
Grants will be decided on the following criteria:
- Organizations must be working to support and provide benefit to the community
- Organizations must be based in the Cooroy Rag distribution area (see map on page 2 of our Media Kit)
- An organization must apply on behalf of any individual wishing to make an application
Process
Please download and fill in the below word document, providing answers to the questions
below. Filled in applications can be submitted via email to secretary@cooroyrag.com.au with
Cooroy Rag Community Grant Application as the email subject line.
A copy of the questions are below: - Name of association/organisation
- Address
- Phone number
- Dollar amount applying for
- What will the grant funds be used for?
- How does your organisation work to benefit the community?
The application process is conducted by the Cooroy Community Newspaper Inc. Management
Committee.
Timing
The program is open for a 6 week period only with applications closing on the 15th August 2025.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome via email in September.
