The Cooroy Rag Community Newspaper is pleased to announce the launch of its 2026 grant
program.

This year, $10,000 will be available for organizations working to benefit community causes in
the Cooroy Rag distribution area. Grant applications can range from $500-$2,000, and final decisions and amounts distributed are
at the discretion of the Cooroy Rag management committee.

Criteria
Grants will be decided on the following criteria:

  1. Organizations must be working to support and provide benefits to the community
  2. Organizations must be based in the Cooroy Rag distribution area (see map on page 2 of our Media Kit)
  3. Process:
    Download and fill in the word document. Completed applications can be submitted via email to secretary@cooroyrag.com.au with “Cooroy Rag Community Grant Application” as the email subject line.
  4. Information needed for grant submission:
    Name of association/organisation
    Address
    Phone number
    Email address
    Amount applying for ($500-2,000)
    What the grant funds will be used for
    How the organisation works to benefit the community

The application process is conducted by the Cooroy Community Newspaper Inc. Management
Committee.

Timing
The program is open in August with applications closing COB on the 28th August 2026.
